These lights are a super bright white light. I am truly impressed with them. They are easy to install also

Lights are bright and easy to install. I give the lights a 4 star rating because the lights flash like strobe lights for a few seconds, after the Mini is started, if you don’t turn the headlights on. Once the lights are on, they work fine.

Advantages: Bright, easy to install.

Disadvantages: Flash like strobe lights for a few seconds after the Mini is started. This is if the lights are not turned on.

Details

Replacement LED license plate lights for the left AND right plate light on the bottom of the rear boot handle. This part is meant to clip into place in the opening and the bulb is designed to plug into the old bulb location only to transfer power to the LED. Sold as a set of 2.

If you don't mind destroying the OEM shifter boot then this thing is a snap (literally and figuratively) to install. You won't need to disassemble the center console. I just broke it off with a screwdriver. The new well pops right in with no tools. Couldn't be simpler.
