This kit is fantastic, what a nice compliment to the interior.

Advantages: Perfect fitting overlay's

Disadvantages: Small adjustment needed for the shift housing ring but nothing too complex

Gotta love the aftermarket when it comes to stuff like this Chrome Trim Ring kit. While the factory parts are basically complete replacement plastic housings which include the thin chrome trim accents already installed, this kit includes stick on trim rings that go on over your existing parts. Another difference between this kit and the OEM kit is that these trim rings are significantly larger in scale than the factory chrome kit so instead of getting a sliver of chrome you get 'more' chrome. This kit also includes chrome toggle divider covers, tach ring (VERY important) and a few other trim parts which the factory kit does not offer.

NOTE: The tachometer trim ring will not work with Convertible and Roadster models that have the "Open Meter" (or "fun meter").

This kit includes:
1- Center speedometer trim ring
1- Tachometer ring
4- toggle covers- lower
4- toggle covers- upper
2- left and right air vent trim rings
2- side vents rings (outer edge of dash)
2- lower speaker trim rings
2- upper speaker trim rings
2- door handle trim
2- front cupholder/ashtray trim rings
1- rear cupholder trim (not for use if armrest is installed)
1- shift boot trim ring
2- defrost vent trim rings
1- cig lighter trim ring

Just received my latest order for the R56 Gloss black hood scoop. Easy Install and great fit. Only issue is the gloss finish has major swirl scratches. Not sure if this was a return that got put back on the self or came from factory this way.

Out Motoring deserves kudos for their service! I was prepping for a road trip when less than two weeks prior I decided to upgrade two engine mounts and install a short shift adapter in my R53. Aaron and Brittany were hugely helpful in getting me ready! Brittany was able to find the mounts I wanted in stock, and Aaron helped me with info on the short shifter I was looking at. Brittany helped me again when I changed my mind, by modifying my order on the fly. They got the components to me in four days - plenty of lead time before my scheduled installation appointment and well in advance of the trip. BIG Thanks to Out Motoring for their help. This outfit will be at the top of my vendor list for future maintenance and upgrade needs.

I have 2009 JCW (R56) and have done a lot of work on it...and unfortunately it needs a lot of work as a cost for the fun.

I am local to Outmotoring and I am very thankful they are so responsive. They can often get parts same day and the prices are very competitive to the big online retailers and ebay. They have gotten me out of a jam more than once...and I can return parts that I did not need.

I have visited them numerous times and they have a nice showroom and top-notch operation. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
