While we proudly sell thousands of genuine MINI replacement parts we also have found that some aftermarket or OE manufacturers offer nearly identical parts for less. This is a perfect example of a great part that will save MINI owners some money without risk. This part is made by Behr and has proven to be a great value. Behr is listed as the official manufacturer and supplier to MINI for this part.

If you have a generation 1 MINI, chances are your radiator overflow / expansion tank has a crack in it. And it is pretty likely that if you had one replaced under warranty that it busted again. And Again. This is the newest part number that MINI has for this part and is supposed to have a better glue seal between the upper and lower sections which was prone to splitting. The result is white residue all over the header heat shield and of course the container. This is a dead simple swap to replace.

The lights work great and look great too. Much brighter than stock. Pretty easy to install after you get the 2 tabs (top & bottom) on the old lights either compressed or just break them as their not need for install or removal there are 3 screws that mount the lights and seal them from the elements.
