Please note- the images shown of the holder installed are from a gen3 MINI. Your MINI may look different, however please select your MINI model from the drop down menu in order to get the correct mounting bracket. There are 3 generations of MINI and each model is described below grouped by generation.

Universal phone holders tend to be bulky, clumsy and cheap plastic. The Cravenspeed Scissor mount is a simple, machined aluminum design that (with a size upgrade for 2019) can fit just about any phone on the market (2.5" to 3.4" wide) . These phone holders are assembled by hand in the USA. The scissor mechanism is spring loaded which creates a very strong grip and is also rotatable. The base rail attaches to the back of the tachometer using factory screws holes (new longer screws are supplied) and is completely reversible should you ever need to remove it.

Location, location, location
Your device is so much more than a phone. We use our smartphones as advanced GPS devices with turn by turn directions and traffic avoidance. These crazy valuable features of your phone are really tough to take advantage of unless you have the phone secured where you can see it. This Gemini puts your phone in a better viewing location than any other car phone mount could; it attaches to existing holes on the back of your tachometer. Once installed the phone location can be adjusted easily by pivoting the on the bracket, just move it and it stays put. Both the Magnet and Scissor will then allow the phone to rotate into portrait or landscape mode.

IMPORTANT: If you have a portable navigation system, Ipod mount, existing gauges or other accessories already mounted on the back of the Tach this kit will not work.

I purchased a trunk latch and back door logo. The website gave me confidence I had purchased the correct parts. The delivery was super fast, and the parts fit perfectly - the replacement was done in less than an hour (mostly cleaning the old adhesive). Excellent service, high marks!

After my daughter ran over a piece of "plastic" on the interstate in her 2006 R53 puncturing the fuel tank, I placed an order with Aaron for replacement. Due to the pandemic, inflation and the overall state of the world, both the price of the item from Mini and the shipping costs had increased significantly. Aaron was proactive and made me aware of the changes in price and the potential shipping delays and was willing to work with me on both.
