Very easy install after watching a few videos about how to get the side marker off and remove the center plastic logo piece. Took about 30 minutes, so you can probably do it in 15. Subtle change, but very sleek. Good option if you want to go for the black out look without changing the logo piece.

Details

Set of 2 black LED Side Marker Lights. These replace the stock clear or yellow side marker lights in minutes and you will need to transfer the center chrome part over. If you're after a blacked out look these need to be on your list.

Please note that these have a built in wire connector that plugs into the factory MINI female LIGHT BULB socket. Please remove the old bulb from the old side marker lights wiring connection and plug the pigtail directly into the socket.

The turn signal light on these is sequential which means it has a 'motion' to it and as it 'blinks' it's actually adding more LEDs in the sequence from the end of the U shape to the beginning of the U shape. It's pretty slick. You can get a sense for this movement by looking at the detailed images under the main image. The LED color is orange.

These are the perfect addition to my JCW. I have a red over black JCW with the Xenon head lamps & black housings. These are the perfect way to tone down the brash bright red of the tail/brake lamp housings to match the front lamps. Not only do you eliminate the chrome but the housing itself is black thus darkening the appearance of the entire assembly. I would say these should be flying off the shelf but i don't want everyone to have a MINI that looks as good as mine.
