The center rail feature in the Countryman/Paceman is absolutely stunning and well executed. This is the factory armrest kit from MINI and is designed to integrate into the center rail feature using the supplied trim and hardware. Available in Black as shown which is a perfect match for the rest of the interior (dash and other plastic parts, etc).

MINI does not have official instructions for this part however this should help: Installation guide for split-rail vehicles: Remove the black rubber insert from the center rail. Remove the rear rail end piece held in by two screws located under round cover. There are screws at the front and rear of the rail when looking down at it from above that will need to be removed. Lift the rail off Remove the rear metal base and replace it with the new base included using the existing screws Reassemble the rail and fasten it down. Use the new screws provided to screw in the new armrest into the existing holes at the end of the rail Install the armrest side covers. Reinstall the rear rail cover. Trim the rubber insert to fit and reinsert into the rail Installation time: 45-60 minutes

These camber plates are very well built structurally, improved the handling of the car dramatically, but IE built this unit around a very low quality bearing. By increasing the camber in the way that this unit does, it puts more load on the bearing and within only a couple months of installing it, the bearing becomes noisy, than gets sloppy, and than you car sounds like your front end is going to fall off on mild bumps. We installed these fixed camber plates following the instructions to the letter and within a few months, every set had to come off the cars they were on.
